Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How long does the procedure take?

The procedure typically takes 30-60 minutes.

Does Radiofrequency Microneedling hurt?

The amount of pain associated with RF microneedling can vary from person to person and depending on the depth of the needles. Some people may experience only mild discomfort, while others may find it to be more painful. The procedure is usually performed with a topical numbing cream to help reduce discomfort.

Can RF Microneedling cause scarring?

Microneedling creates tiny wounds to stimulate collagen production. In rare cases, if the depth or technique is incorrect, this controlled injury can heal with scarring. It’s important to go to a skilled practitioner who understands skin anatomy and chooses the right needle depth and settings for your specific needs. This minimises the risk of scarring.

Does EMFACE treatment use Radiofrequency?

Yes, EMFACE treatment does use radiofrequency (RF). The combination of RF and HIFES is what sets EMFACE apart and allows it to address both skin laxity and muscle weakness for a more comprehensive facial rejuvenation experience.
