The first Australian to be admitted as a fellow in Plastic Surgery at the world renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Medical Centre in New York, Dr. Liew made his mark early in his career, specialising in facial and breast aesthetic plastic surgery.

Dr. Liew has continued to specialise in face and breast surgery in Sydney. But such is his passion for aesthetics, he has also developed a series of world first non-surgical procedures which have earned him an international reputation. These pioneering techniques have revolutionised the cosmetic industry.

Non-Surgical Facial Cosmetic Procedures

Dr. Liew’s non-surgical procedures for the lower face and jawline were the first in his series of breakthrough procedures (“Angle of Beauty” Elle, New York 2009 Dermatological Times, USA 2009).

He then went on to develop procedures for the eye, neck and face as well as lower jaw reshaping and gummy smile correction – all without surgery.

The Liew Lift: A global template

To aid both plastic surgeons and Medical Practitioners on how to achieve the best results for patients, Dr. Liew developed the Liew International Face Template (“Concepts of Beauty”, Dermatology Times USA 2009).

The Liew lift is fast being adopted as a universal standard and measuring tool for modern facial enhancement procedures – surgical and non-surgical.
